What happens when over 50 nonprofit leaders come together in one room? Real connections. Real collaboration. Real impact.

On June 27th, something special happened in Atlanta. While flash flood warnings swept the city, the energy inside Hippin’ Hops Brewpub was nothing short of electric. Presented by My Mogul Media in partnership with Rootstock and proudly sponsored by Donorbox, Connect ATL brought together founders, fundraisers, and community leaders—proving once again that even on stormy nights, purpose finds a way to shine.

What Made the Night Unforgettable

Walking into the room felt like walking into possibility.
Laughter bounced between high-top tables. Ideas were scribbled on napkins. Strangers became collaborators. And the air? Electric.

At the heart of it all were our powerhouse speakers—Anna Cable, Jaz’ Vick, Lindsey Bower, and Emmanuel Glaze—who didn’t just speak; they sparked something.

They talked about real challenges—burnout, fundraising fatigue, scaling with soul—and they offered more than advice.

They offered hope wrapped in wisdom.

Meanwhile, across the room, conversations unfolded between founders, fundraisers, and movement-makers. Business cards were exchanged. But more importantly? So were stories.

Voices From the Room

“I left reminded: storms don’t cancel the blessing — they prepare you for it.”
— Shana Sanders

“Grateful for Darrin Cook creating the kind of space where real community happens – not just networking, but genuine connection among changemakers.

This is what sustainable change looks like: building authentic relationships with people who understand both the vision and the grind.

The revolution needs community, and I’m continuously growing mine.”
— Catedra Phillips

“The room was buzzing with champions for change and hearts for transformation.

I always talk about Atlanta being a special place because it is a city where you can have real conversations that lead to meaningful collaboration and this was another instance where that was on display.”
— Jaz’ Vick

“The energy, passion, and heart of the nonprofit community here is truly something special.

A huge shoutout to Darrin Cook, the driving force behind Connect ATL. His vision and hard work made this event not just inspiring, but a real catalyst for connection and growth in our community.

Feeling lucky to be part of this vibrant community and eager to see what’s next!”
— Jenna Lynch

“This is how we build community, support each other, and lift each other up, so that we can all do better and make even bigger impacts. This is thought leadership in action.”
— Ryan Klee

Every voice echoed the same truth: this wasn’t just networking. It was belonging.

A Night in Photos

Each photo tells a story—of a community that refuses to build alone.

A Night That Reminded Us: We’re Stronger Together

There’s something powerful about showing up. About gathering on purpose, with purpose.

Connect ATL reminded us that when changemakers share a space, transformation starts to happen.

You could feel it in the room:

  • That sense of being part of something bigger.
  • That sense that your work matters.
  • That someone finally gets it.

If you left inspired, affirmed, or simply reminded that you’re not alone—you weren’t the only one.

What’s Next: Connect ATL Returns September 25

We’re already planning the next Connect ATL Mixer, happening on Thursday, September 25 from 6:30–8:30 PM.
You’ll want to be in the room. Again.

Or maybe for the first time.

Be the First to Know

We’re building something real here—and there’s a seat at the table with your name on it.
