Connect ATL: Where Purpose-Driven Leaders Become Community
On June 27th, more than 50 nonprofit leaders filled a room in Atlanta for the very first Connect ATL, proving that purpose finds a way to shine, even on a stormy night.
Presented by My Mogul Media in partnership with Rootstock and sponsored by Donorbox, Connect ATL brought together founders, fundraisers, and community leaders at Hippin’ Hops Brewpub for an evening of real connection, real collaboration, and real impact.
What Made the Night Unforgettable
Walking into the room felt like walking into possibility. Laughter bounced between high top tables. Ideas were scribbled on napkins. Strangers became collaborators.
At the heart of it all were our speakers, Anna Cable, Jaz’ Vick, Lindsey Bower, and Emmanuel Glaze, who spoke honestly about the real challenges nonprofit leaders face: burnout, fundraising fatigue, and the work of building something that lasts.

“This is what sustainable change looks like: building authentic relationships with people who understand both the vision and the grind. The revolution needs community, and I’m continuously growing mine,” said Catedra Phillips.
“The room was buzzing with champions for change and hearts for transformation. Atlanta is a special place because it is a city where you can have real conversations that lead to meaningful collaboration, and this was another instance where that was on display,” said Jaz’ Vick.
