The Problem

A local service business, a two-person team, was posting on Instagram four times a week and still felt invisible. Hours went into content. Calls weren’t coming.

What We Found

We ran the 5-Minute Visibility Check. They scored 2 of 5. Their Google Business Profile hadn’t been touched in months. Their website’s home page didn’t say what they did or where, without scrolling. They had two reviews, both over a year old.

All of their effort was going into amplifier, social media, with almost no foundation underneath it. It worked exactly as long as they kept posting, and not one day longer.

What We Changed

We didn’t add more channels. We fixed the foundation: updated the Google Business Profile on a weekly rhythm, rewrote the website’s first screen to answer the buying question immediately, and built a simple, repeatable ask for reviews into every completed job.

Social media stayed, but as the amplifier it was always meant to be, not the whole strategy.

The Result

Sixty days later, calls were up. Hours spent on marketing were down. Both at the same time.

That’s the pattern we see most often: the fix usually isn’t doing more. It’s giving the foundation the attention it was quietly asking for.
