Last week, we gathered at Monday Night Brewing for a night that felt like confirmation.

We were not just hosting another Connect ATL. We were celebrating one full year of building a room that leaders keep trusting with their honesty, their questions, and their hope.

It was an amazing evening because the room never felt forced. People were not just exchanging business cards. They were exchanging context, lessons, perspective, and the kind of encouragement that only happens when trust has been built over time.

That anniversary mattered because Connect ATL has never been about collecting a crowd. It has always been about creating a space where nonprofit leaders, founders, operators, partners, and community builders can exhale long enough to have a real conversation.

One Year Later, The Room Feels Real

When Connect ATL started, the goal was never to create another networking event.

The goal was to create a room where leaders could breathe.

A room where the conversation could move past surface introductions and into the real questions leaders carry every day.

How do we grow without burning out?

How do we stay visible without losing the heart of the work?

How do we build systems that support trust instead of creating more friction?

How do we keep serving people well while building organizations that can last?

Those questions shaped our first year. They also shaped the energy of this anniversary night.

You could feel it in every conversation, every introduction, and every moment where somebody realized they were not the only one carrying what they had been carrying.

An Amazing Evening Built Around Trust

The Impact Circles helped make that possible. They gave the night shape without making it stiff. They kept the room intimate enough for honesty and open enough for people to find themselves in each other's stories.

This anniversary did not feel like a finish line. It felt like proof that the room is working.
